Combifab fans
The principal cost of running a dust extraction system is the energy consumed to operate the extraction and material transport fans. Good fan design is an important starting point. Correct selection of the fan and speed of rotation to match the airflow volume and pressure requirements, whilst operating at its maximum efficiency, will minimise running costs. Running costs can easily exceed the plant purchase price in just a few months of continuous operation. It is increasingly important therefore to make the most efficient selection at the design stage. Silencers
Sound attenuation enclosures are available for the full range of Combifab fans, for all standard drive arrangements. They are suitable for use indoors or outdoors and attenuate the machine or break-out noise. Air silencers should also be fitted to the discharge air duct or stack if air noise from the outlet should be reduced.
